I have bought more power strips, surge protectors, and UPS units than anybody I know. It wouldn't surprise me if the total count wasn't over 50 by now.
Out of all of those various ways to deliver power, I really like my PowerSquids. You can get either the three-foot or ten-foot cord, and no matter what you have to plug in or where you end up putting the unit, the squid-like outlets work great. Plus it's a surge protector.
Recommended if you have a power cord problem. Remember, the first step is admitting you have the problem. :)
