Oddly enough, I don't recommend this site for the content; it tends a might bit too conservative for my leanings. But it is the best site I've found so far that allows me to scan a dozen or two editorials quickly as part of my morning startup routine.
If you decide to go down this route, also do a quick scan of RealClear Policy and RealClear Markets.
This is going to sound odd, but I find a much better source of news information can be had by reading opinion pieces, where the author has to state a thesis and then support it. It feels more honest, and I can always judge the column on the merits of the writing as a separate matter from whether I agree with it or not. If I'm seeing a lot of poorly-written partisan pieces about X, I can safely assume that the political party stuck with X is in a pickle.
