Museum Mondays: Dark Wave
I shot this on the Gulf Coast of Florida many years ago. A storm has just came through, the sun was setting, and I wanted some kind of dramatic shot to record the event.
But what to get? I tried various angles and lighting setups, but nothing seemed to work. Finally, out of desperation, I waded out into the surf with my expensive DSLR equipment and _no protection_, holding the camera as closely to the incoming surf as possible without ruining it with salt water.
I'm not sure I'd do it again, but I'm happy with the results I got that time.
From Space-X to a new inside-out Wenkel engine for DoD, it's been an amazing week for inventors.
