I believe that writers change the world, even though that change may only happen hundreds of years later. I’m not out to change the world, but my mission is to help technology developers lead happier and more productive lives. As it turns out, that mission takes my writing into all sorts of areas, from dealing with politics as a professional to history to the role of various philosophies in how we understand one another and create things other people want using technology.

I’m going to try to post things related to my mission here. My promise to you is that I won’t create any sort of low-effort content. We very well might disagree on things! But if so, I promise I’ll do by best to make sure that we won’t be disagreeing at the level of “But no! You’re the asshat!”
